Notes: After receiving a few pivotal sections from the book from which to draw imagery for the cover, the publisher and I agreed upon this and one other scene, which went to sketches. We then decided upon this one, which was finished and went through a few revisions, adding more lighting/clouds, and in general adding more horror to the spirit creature.
